Rule 130
Functions, Duties and Powers of the Directorate
The functions, duties and powers of the Directorate shall be as follows:-
(a) To act as a central agency for execution of judgments,
(b) Keeping the information related to imprisonment, fines, government failures in the computer network as per the judgment, and working as a central archive,
(c) Proceedings initiated by the court and sent in writing to the relevant court or agency to recover the cases pending,
(d) After receiving the directives issued by the court in accordance with sub-rule (4) of rule 127, classifying those directives as much as possible and sending them in writing to that agency or authority through the Attorney General's office, clearly stating which agency or officer should be able to do which work and when,
(e) To monitor whether the instructional order as per Clause (d) has been implemented, to execute it, and if it is found that no order has been implemented on time during such monitoring, and for what reason it has not been implemented, after taking information from the relevant agency or official, if the reason is not satisfactory, before the bench To do according to the order submitted,
(f) If a directive order is implemented and written to be deducted from any agency or official, then after making necessary inquiries in that regard, deduct the amount,
(g) To publish the updated details of imprisonment, fines, government fines and send them in writing to various agencies of the Government of Nepal for collection,
(h) Collecting punishments, fines, imprisonment and government debt collection in accordance with the judgments of various courts and providing support in the work of collecting debts, conducting customs, separating bonds and paying compensation to the victims, etc. and monitoring the same, (i) Coordinate with various agencies of Nepal government, local level and police to implement the decision (j) To monitor, inspect and evaluate the execution of judgments of subordinate courts,
(k) To prepare and implement a policy related to the record, protection and management of the material goods of the case,
(l) Dharout and hTo arrange for the management of bail related records,
(d) To issue necessary instructions to subordinate courts and quasi-judicial bodies regarding the execution of judgments,
(l) Conducting capacity building programs for staff involved in the implementation of judgments (n) Approve and cause to be implemented the necessary forms and formats for the purpose of managing the records of imprisonment, fines and government offences, (p) To submit suggestions before the court regarding the policy and legal reforms to be made in relation to the implementation of the judgment,
(h)    To build the software necessary for the execution of judgments and connect their work and actions to the information technology network.
